Anyone who knows food, knows picking the right drink to pair it with can make all the difference.
Whether it’s breakfast, that long lunch or dinner, here’s my go-to’s.
They say its the most important meal of the day, that of course all depends on what kind of state you’re in when you wake up.
For this exercise, let’s say we are on vacation/ long weekend.
Before ordering that first bevy, do a bit of self-assessment; have I brushed my teeth? have I showered? am I ready to roll??!
Tick them boxes off first before ordering – trust meeeee.
Everything in order, a nice hearty breakfast in front of you, here’s what I’m going.
An Ice Cold Vodka & Water w Cucumber
Or the GOAT, a Bloody Mary
We don’t want beer or anything sweet in the morning.
You’ve gotta give the body nutrients/hydration first thing – tricks the mind mind into thinking its enjoying a fresh juice or something too.
Ahhhh lunch – best time of the day.
What’s the old saying; start early finish early.
Endless food options when it comes to the big midday feast.
As are ya drink options, but here’s where I lean;
Ice Cold Carlton dry – depends if I have to drive, then its Great Northern (GUNNN!!!)
Or I’m Going A Double Tequila Ginger Beer – for the brave!
Now on to dinner, save the best for last!
This is where that adult palatte comes in to play – both food and drink choice are held at high regard in my eyes.
Dinner is where MEMORIES ARE MADE.
So pick a drink that invokes that sense of emotion. Something that gets ya reminiscing of great times and makes you eager for more!
