Hotel Quarantine Escapee Goes Full 1900s Prison Break – Scales Down Using Rope Made of Bedsheets

This is some old school prison break shit.

A man who escaped hotel quarantine in Western Australia by crafting a rope out of bedsheets and scaling down the building has been found and arrested.

He had travelled to WA from Brisbane and was forced to quarantine after he did not meet the criteria for an exemption into the state.

He was issued with a direction to leave WA within 48 hours and was taken to a hotel until he could get a flight out.

But the bro had other ideas.

Like a 1900’s Alcatraz escape, he fashioned together bed sheets and scaled down 4 levels to freedom.

He was running about for 8 hours before the police eventually caught up with him.

Before everyone freaks out, he was not covid positive.

And while in no way the behaviour should be condoned, you have to admire the balls on the bloke.
